Nintendo has announced a Customer Appreciation Sale starting this coming weekend that will run through much of September, offering 30 percent off on numerous products. Nintendo claims this sale is made possible through tariff refunds.

Nintendo of America announced its sale with a press release on the company website sharing some deals on what will be for sale and when:

When Donald Trump’s tariffs were deemed illegal, Nintendo stated that it had no legal obligation to compensate customers out of US tariff refunds. Nintendo was hardly the only tech company to take that stance, but this sale marks an interesting turn in that decision, especially considering Nintendo direct sales on first-party products are rare outside of the holidays.

Regardless, the tariff refund-powered Nintendo Customer Appreciation Sale starts on Saturday, and if you’re looking to fill your gaming library at a discount, stay tuned to Senior Editor Ozzie Mejia’s weekend console and PC gaming deals for more sales.
