PAX East 2027 Badges Go on Sale November 11 2026

PAX East, one of the largest video game and tabletop gaming conventions on the East Coast, with PAX Unplugged being another major event dedicated to tabletop gaming, is returning to Boston in April 2027, and it’s almost time to secure your tickets. Organizers have announced that badges for PAX East 2027 will officially go on sale Wednesday, November 11, 2026, with Early Bird pricing available for those looking to save some money.

PAX East 2027 will take place from April 22 through April 25, 2027, at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center, formerly known as the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC), in Boston, Massachusetts. As always, attendees can look forward to a massive show floor featuring upcoming video games, hands-on demos, tabletop gaming, indie developers, gaming hardware, panels, and plenty of opportunities to meet fellow gamers. However, as of now, organizers haven’t revealed which companies will be attending PAX East 2027, so we’ll have to wait and see who shows up at next year’s event.

Those planning to attend should also know that official hotel blocks will become available on November 11, the same day badges go on sale. This gives attendees a chance to secure both their convention badges and accommodations ahead of next year’s event.

For indie developers, applications for the PAX Rising Showcase are also open, giving smaller studios an opportunity to have their games featured on the PAX East 2027 show floor.

I’ve been to my fair share of gaming events over the years, including PAX West and PAX East, and when it comes to conventions that are open to the public, PAX East is easily my favorite. It also helps that I don’t have to spend five or six hours on a plane flying to the other side of North America just to attend. Boston is much closer to home, and whether I decide to fly or drive, getting there is a whole lot easier.

While PAX West 2026 was a bit disappointing for me, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that PAX East 2027 will make up for it. I’ve always enjoyed the atmosphere at PAX East, and I’m looking forward to seeing what next year’s event has in store.
