If you recall your ancient ’80s cartoon lore, you might recall the tale of Voltron: Defender of the Universe — a giant robot made of cat robots. Project Gorgon took inspiration from this series this week as it brought together four underperforming servers into one mighty shard. All accounts have been given two extra temporary character slots on the Dreva server to handle the influx, but these will only last for a month or so.
“During the game’s launch we added new servers too quickly, which has left some servers with low populations that make finding a group difficult,” the devs said. “But merging servers wasn’t really an option available to us — until now! In this update, the Laeth, Miraverre, Strekios, and Dreva servers have been combined into one. The new improved Dreva server contains all of your characters from all of these worlds.”
Other changes with this week’s update include a new random loading screen, an improved “favor-up” UI panel, Steam achievements (and yes, they’re retroactive), and the return of Keelflip, a little dice game you can play… until you get demoralized and suffer a stat penalty.
