Join the show for more Elden Ring.
Steve Tyminski September 9, 2026 3:30 PM Bandai Namco 1Tonight, on The Stevetendo Show, we’re jumping right back into our Elden Ring playthrough. I have limited experience with these types of games, having played Dark Souls 1 on The Stevetendo Show and a cup of coffee in Dark Souls 3. During the last Elden Ring episode, we started our journey, and it went about as well as you would have expected.
We died quite a few times, but I was teaching myself the basics of the game. We started the episode Torent-less and maiden-less. By the time we finished, we had both of those things and killed a cave-dwelling boss. Will I be able to make my way through the game, dealing with all the enemies I come across? Set to go live at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET, join The Stevetendo Show for more of our Elden Ring playthrough.
Shackers who want to join in on the fun can head over to the Shacknews Twitch channel, where you can tune into The Stevetendo Show every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
If you can't make tonight's show, you can watch Monday nights at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET. Coming up on the show are more of our Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time playthroughs. The schedule could look a little different in the near future with the likes of Super Mario Sunshine and Star Fox Adventures coming on the scene. The action is heating up, and you won't want to miss out!

With all the technical issues we had last night, I didn't get to share my thoughts on the Legend of Zelda fortieth anniversary Direct. I'll kill two birds with one stone this evening because I'll share my thoughts on the Nintendo Direct that occurred this morning. It was an interesting presentation that had a few games that caught my attention. Swing by the show to hear my thoughts!
Re-reading what I wrote yesterday, none of the games I predicted were shown during the Direct presentation. No Rad Racer, no Mario, no F-Zero. One of these days, we’ll get the classic Rad Racer on the Switch Online, but I guess we’ll have to settle for Star Fox Adventures. Keep thinking of games that you’d like me to play on The Stevetendo Show. If they’re easy to get ahold of/on Switch Online, you could see them star in an upcoming episode.
